Unfortunately, our experience was disappointing. The staff member, who appeared to be Eastern European, blonde, and of a larger build, was quite rude and made us feel uncomfortable. We explained that we had already paid for an item elsewhere and showed a receipt as evidence, which didn’t seem to be appreciated. After saying “it’s fine”, she then asked whether we were paying by cash or card, using a nasty tone of voice and side eyeing us as if to say "can you actually pay for this ?" The interaction could have easily ruined our day, but thankfully my partner helped me stay cheerful. Kindness is easy and free, and it would have made a big difference here. Please do better when hiring staff Home Bargains, thank you

I asked for a bag and the guy behind the counter sed aww I’ll have to do it separately now with attitude as if done something wrong, I sed you really didn’t give me chance as I walked out the guy on the next counter shouted what’s his problem, Friday 16th January between the times 1pm to 2pm

This is a great supermarket, good prices and hard working staff. They sell a wide range of household items along with a good selection of foods, both fresh and frozen . The entrance is around the rear, so could easily miss it from the main road.
