Called in to drop a lens for trade in review tonight. Chris, the assistant manager served me and nothing was too much trouble. Great advice, clearly a very knowledgeable gentleman and more than that, a photographer. To save me going back, he prioritised the lens review and I purchased my new kit there and then. The store was busy, which is always a great sign, but you’re made to feel welcome and there’s no awkwardness there there can be walking into some camera shops. Great array of kit for people that progress all genres of this amazing hobby, it’s a photography haven! Managed to get home and hide my new buys from my wife before she even got home 😉 If you’re thinking of an hour out, wanting to buy new kit or just have great conversation/advice about kit or the hobby call in here and see the team. 5*’s to Chris 👏🏻

Outstanding camera store! The Leeds branch of Wex has a fantastic selection of gear and, more importantly, a team of friendly, expert staff who really know their stuff. They provided great, no-pressure advice and made the whole process easy. Highly recommend!

Went to collect my son's camera today (Tues) that was ordered on Saturday . Unfortunately the lens was not compatible with the camera. Chris arranged for the correct lens to be delivered next day at no extra charge, was super helpful with my son's questions, and even gave him a spare bag with his camera. The service on Sunday when ordering and trying to find the best camera for our budget was amazing. Staff are knowledgeable and pointed us in the right direction for everything we needed. Finally happy to have found a store that has a good range of 2nd hand and new cameras in store, staff that aren't just there for sales. Will definitely be back!

Purchased the Thypoch 28mm in silver for M mount. The lens arrived next day and was impressed with speedy delivery. However upon opening the box it was clear that this was not a new product due to the mark on the aperture ring and the rear cap being black from the alternate colour lens. No cellophane around the box (not sure if this is actually how it’s shipped) also added to my view that this was not a new product. The lens itself takes beautiful images as I would expect. I’d rather not send it back as I do love the lens but sending me what looks like a used copy when paying full price for a new lens has left me disappointed with WEX

Service was impeccable. These guys know there stuff. Always gone to Bradford Camera Exchange until the owner passed. Popped in with a poorly camera. Sought advice from Chris Butcher and received my new camera new day!! Absolutely fantastic service……. Definitely recommend and will be using these guys again 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
