Excellent gallery with amazing staff! Very friendly. Really good artwork, well worth a visit.
Nice artwork on display. There was an artist visiting with his recent work, my Aunt had an invite because she's bought in the past. He interacted with people and signed books and paintings. Art by other artists were on show, also sculptures and furniture. The gallery staff are very friendly. The gallery is situated in an old mill which has been converted into a designer home furnishing store. There's a restaurant on the first floor and a cookware shop on the bottom floor. Ample parking.
I went to visit the Smart Gallery in Batley and I was impressed with the selection of limited editions prints, frames and sculptures. I quite like the Doug Hide range and will definately come back to purchase some fine art. The Smart Gallery is based within a brick mill surrounded by other design consious shops, well worth the visit.
A beutuful gallery, large space with lots of independent and published artists one of which is Rob Hefferan my favourite diverse artist. Definitely worth visiting, helpful informal staff too.
Great selection on display. I particularly like the Danny Abrahams. They even have a small bar of you wanted a drink! Nice place
