A wonderful densely wooded hillside popular with dog-walkers and those who just love a really picturesque walk. Especially lovely in Autumn and whenever the sun filters through the trees

A beautiful stretch of ancient woodland is just a stones throw from Chapel Allerton and Oakwood. It has a lovely duck pond and lots of tracks and trails for short loop walks. There are lots of information boards that detail the woods history and the local wildlife you may find there. Be on the lookout for woodpeckers, kingfishers, and dragonflies as well as bats at twilight and whole hosts of different butterflies in the meadow on the warm summer days.

Lovely stretch of woods, great for a short walk. Lots of dogs off lead so great for doggy socialisation. Always nice seeing the Swan and the ducks as well.

Banging piece of woodland, complete with it's own lake and some disinterested swans. The only time I've seen a duck in a tree was here.
