If you have never played here and are serious about golf I would highly recommend. The course condition is amazing, greens fantastic and good architecture is clever. Alongside that it is well organised, polite and friendly. Put all that alongside the history of the club, e.g. ryder cup host in early 1920s I think and the clubhouse history and you really are in for a great golf experience.
Great course, played in 30mph winds which was tough. Greens ran true, fairways were scorched but with so little rain recently, not surprising. Great clubhouse and changing rooms, worth a visit if you’re close by
An absolute beauty! Yes the fairways were a little dry, just as much as most golf courses in the country, but the real challenge is to avoid the heather that you will find throughout the course! The tee boxes are manicured to perfections and the greens are as good as you will find them in the country. The bunkers not only have white sand in them but plenty of it too! To make this course a brilliant one, is the great food and drinks served at the end of your round! I will go back!
Looking very good indeed. The course was in good condition and playing well. Changes in the clubhouse are fantastic too. Thanks for having me today..👌🏻👍😃⛳️⛳️
