The Granary at Morton

Description

The Granary at Morton was converted from farm buildings into a large family home with modern facilities a few years ago.  Pat and Sue Jemison decided to welcome guests into our home offering B&B accommodation.

The 2 bedrooms are light and airy and have their own access.  The double bedroom can be used as a family room.  The room rate will be discounted for 3 nights or more.

The Granary is set in a large plot with plenty of off road parking and views of the countryside including the paddock where chickens roam free.  There is secure storage for bikes and motorcycles

The Granary is only 3 miles from Junction 51 of the A1M, on the A684 between Bedale & Northallerton so is an ideal place to break your journey or have  a mini break / weekend away.

The Yorkshire Dales National Park,  The North York Moors and The North East Coast are all easily accessible from The Granary and many  well- known Yorkshire towns  eg Ripon, York, Wetherby, Masham, Hawes and Thirsk are all within easy reach.

There are 2 pubs serving food in the village and a choice of several pubs and restaurants nearby.

Northallerton is a well known  market town which offers a range of shops including Barkers Department store and the  food store Lewis & Coopers often amongst visitors’ favourites.

The railway station at Northallerton is on the main line and transfers from there to The Granary can be arranged.
