Went this evening for a craving. The food was lovely but and the lady working there was chatty and sweet. But sadly I think I was over charged. Got a large sausage special with some cheese and it cost 9.50 :/ if the price is correct the parcel was insanely small... obviously didn't realise what I had paid until I got home as we were chatting. Obviously I'm heavily pregnant and could not return to ask. But sad experience. Won't be going again sadly.
Bought 2 large fish and chips for my 86 yr old Mum and myself with peas. I can normally enjoy most food but these were awful and very much overpriced. The fish was overcooked and tasteless the chips undercooked the peas had a strange taste. But all well wrapped ! The lot went in the bin. £28 truly wasted !
Visiting Family and advised to get good fish and chips. Well what can I say. The worst I have ever eaten. Having worked in fish and chip shops. I would say these were lunch time chips saved and reheated. Definately not edible. All thrown away. Spending £27.00 in total. This was a very horrible end to a lovely trip with Family. Totally spoilt our evening. Will not recommend or return.
Just had 2 x small fish, portion of chips, battered sausage , peas and gravy £24 The worst fish and chips we have had for a long time. The fish was more than likely from lunch time and been stood a long time, certainly not fresh, cold inside and the meat was dry and tough. The chips were the same dry, cold and inedible, definitely been stood a long time too. We went around 3.15pm no one else in so I do believe they gave us the cast offs from lunch. If we lived closer we would have took it back. I have tried calling the shop to discuss this but no answer. Will not be buying any food a from here again.
We had the Greek chicken gyro and the cod special, both were done to perfection. The chicken was extra tender and full of flavour and you can tell the tzatziki is not just bought in. My husbands fish was white and flaky and the batter was a crispy coating. The service was really friendly and even offered us a potato fritter for 50p.
