Bramble Bottom enjoys a central location in the honey-pot village of Muker - one of the most sought after villages in Swaledale - with its excellent Farmers Arms pub, Village Store and Tearooms (serving the best cakes and Yorkshire Rarebit!), Craft Gallery and Swaledale Woollens. There is fantastic walking and cycling on the doorstep and in May and June, you can enjoy the famous wildflower meadows. May also sees the wonderfully varied Swaledale Festival and in September, there is the traditional Muker Show - a great day out for all the family.

Bramble sleeps up to ten people in five bedrooms, three with en-suite shower rooms and two share a family bathroom. Bramble offers the perfect base for groups of family and friends to get together. It is ideal for a family celebration and perfect for four couples holidaying together as everyone gets their own bathroom!

On the top floor, there is a fabulous lounge/kitchen/diner with cathedral ceilings, magnificent views, a stunning solid oak dining table and chairs and a cosy wood burner. It's a great space in which to cook, eat and chill out. Bramble Bottom offers free super fast wifi. A SMART flatscreen TV with freeview is provided together with a Blu-ray DVD/CD player. The TV has numerous apps installed, including the main i players, so you can catch up on your favourite programmes. In addition, a 250W sound bar system with Bluetooth connectivity allows music streaming from your own devices. With its lovely window seats, you can just curl up with a book and a glass of wine and enjoy watching the world go by. The kitchen is superbly equipped and has a range cooker, dishwasher and microwave along with a wine chiller (there is never enough room in the fridge for all the drinks!)

The quirky layout of the property makes it ideal for large groups. The bedrooms are located on either side of the cottage and most have their own floor, so guests can enjoy their own space and privacy, then come together on the top floor to socialise.

Each bedroom has been designed along Swaledale themes - so on one side of the cottage, there is the lovely calming Waterfalls Room and the understated (not!) Tour de France room featuring a magnificent photo of the Peloton coming through Muker on the big day! Both these bedrooms are on their own floor and have king size beds and en suite shower rooms.

On the other side of the property, you’ll find the Muker Meadows room and the Swaledale Sheep room (with its gorgeous large sheep wall hanging!) together on one floor. These two bedrooms share the family bathroom with bath and over bath shower. Both rooms can be made up either as a super king bed or two singles. Down a floor you find the lovely Heather room, with its restful shades of purple and green. This room has a king size bed and en suite shower room.

For families there are cuddly toys, books and games to keep the kids happy along with children’s crockery/cutlery, travel cots, high chairs and other baby/child friendly equipment such as stair gates and changing mats.

Hearing Loss friendly - we are delighted to have been awarded the Sounds Good Charter Mark from Access Solutions. We can provide a ‘Deafgard’ which is a portable, battery-operated Fire and Wake-up alarm. All our televisions have subtitles.

To the rear of the cottage, there is an enclosed patio with Kettler patio furniture. A Weber gas BBQ is available on request. Directly outside the patio, there is the small village green, the perfect place to play and picnic. There is also a garage where you can store bikes securely.

There is private parking for two cars and plenty of other free parking in Muker.

Bramble Bottom is pet-friendly and welcomes 2 dogs (at extra charge).
