The Andalus Community Center is a wonderful blessing for the Muslim community in Sheffield city centre. It is a perfect place for Jumu’ah prayer as well as the five daily congregational prayers. Previously located near Castle Square, the centre has now moved to a new and more accessible location at 43 Townhead Street, Sheffield, S1 2EB. This new space continues to serve the community excellently and makes it easy for those working or visiting the city centre to perform their prayers without missing them. We are truly blessed to have such a facility in the heart of the city. May Allah accept the sincere intentions and efforts of all those involved in establishing and maintaining this Sadaqah Jariyah project, and may He reward them abundantly.
I came here during Friday prayer. At first I didn't know it was a place for pray. But when there were many guys came inside I realized it was a Friday prayer. Ji really appreciate the initiative to conduct prayer here. Although the building is not huge but we can still pray in rooms they provide. Also there was khutbah and the atmosphere was so warm as it was in mosque. They also have toilet although only one. It was quiet difficult for girls to do wudlu except in toilet. I did mine in the sink as I can't find other place at that time. And I think they also have community activities here. Very Good initiative. I think can move to bigger place with wakaf to occupy more ummat maybe?
Masha Allah An excellent mosque, and it has very high services and dealings at the level, so I salute all the workers present in this social center
