Fantastic experience at Alder! The atmosphere is modern, welcoming, and stylish, making it a perfect place to enjoy a meal or drinks. The staff are friendly, attentive, and professional, providing excellent service throughout our visit. The food is delicious, freshly prepared, and beautifully presented, with a great variety of options to suit all tastes. The venue is clean, comfortable, and well maintained. Overall, a brilliant experience that I would highly recommend. I will definitely be returning!
We hired Alder for our wedding and from start to finish were never disappointed. Jonny and his team were amazing in the lead up and on the night. The venue was amazing with a great selection of beer and the staff were attentive. Jonny was helpful when we came to set up in the morning and gave some excellent suggestions which we utilised. The use of the sound system and our Spotify playlist was awesome and ensured that our guests danced all night! Thanks so much to all the staff involved in making our wedding night amazing! If you want a helpful and amazing venue for a party or even just for a drink head to Alder - you won't be disappointed!
A hidden gem amongst the network of suburban, industrial, contemporary Sheffield pubs. Huge outdoor seating area. Welcoming knowledgeable staff, they know their beers. Regular live music. Make sure it's included in your Kelham crawl, seconds away from The Old Workshop and a minute or two from Church and Gardeners Rest.
We had a visit here as strangers to then be welcomed like friends. Autism friendly, vibrant, welcoming bar with staff that go above and beyond. There is a lot to look at and affordable drink prices. You can hire out the venue, and they have film nights and are now are open on Mondays as an 'Autism friendly night'. I could not recommend somewhere more. They are considerate people who I know their business will grow and thrive. Please support this amazing purpose in welcoming neurodivergents. This visit was insightful, and I love their herb garden!
Nice wee pub with massive beer garden/yard (no heating/roof, just rows of tables). Live music but poor sound quality n lighting (spoiled atmosphere). Some nice decor in some areas but others sorely in need. Plenty ales but very poor selection of ciders.
