I'm a kelham local and regularly enjoy everything about this great bar. The Xmas menu looked so lush I recommended it for my work do. Everyone was impressed by the quality and quantity of the food. The service was really good and efficient. As one of 2 vegans in the party I really recommend the choices given which were so tasty. Whatever your food preferences this is a great venue for food and delicious drinks or cocktails. Fabulous inclusive venue. Thanks to Tom and the team for delivering 👏
A huge thank you to Tom and the team at Neepsend Social Club and Canteen for hosting us for my father-in-law's wake. Communication with Tom leading up to the day was fantastic and he was super helpful and flexible in sorting a varied buffet for our mixed age crowd. We had the whole place to ourselves for 5 hours on a Friday afternoon and the room was set up beautifully when we arrived with tea lights on the tables and space for use to put family photographs. The buffet was amazing - traditional sandwiches and quiche, homemade sausage rolls, BBQ chicken wings, buttermilk fried chicken, seasoned fires and dressed salad. There was plenty of food for everyone and so many family members commented on how good it was. We love this place anyway for the variety and quality of beer they serve and the delicious poutine. I definitely recommend as a venue to host a family event.
What a 10/10 experience we had here recently. From start to finish, the staff couldn't have been more welcoming. We were sent a simple pre-booking link before our evening to order our food, had a table labelled ready for our arrival, individual bar tabs, and this was even after they offered to wait slightly later for our arrival from Foundry climbing centre down the road - what more could you ask for?! Oh, and not to mention the fantastic food on offer, and excellent range of drinks. Special mention goes to the Lamb Burnt Ends and Kimchee Fritters - wow! Marley and Archie do a fantastic job, and we would thoroughly recommend this place to any organisation looking to book a scheduled meal or pitstop out. We WILL be back here when we're next in Sheffield.
First time visiting today and I cannot believe iv not been here sooner, the Sunday roast was amazing, the cauliflower cheese is to die for!! Staff were so friendly and inviting, will be recommending everyone I know and I cannot wait to visit again!
Recently had our work event here. Tom and the team went above and beyond and even stayed late for us when we accidentally ran over. Extremely welcoming and relaxed atmosphere. Plus the food was brilliant. The cauliflower popadom and brownies were the highlights! Will book again in a heartbeat.
