I ordered a cappuccino, a flat white, and a chocolate brownie cake. The coffee was really good and the cake was tasty, but the seating area was just average. Overall, a nice place for a quick coffee break! ☕🍰
Based in Wharncliffe House on Bank Street, Foundry Coffee Roasters have cultivated a peaceful and welcoming atmosphere in their natural wood filled coffee house. The coffee itself is outstanding, this independent business definitely know what they're doing. There is the classic range of coffees available, all made freshly to order, from a choice of beans with their own descriptions. The staff are polite, friendly and clearly enjoy what they do there. It is just a short walk from the city centre and definitely worth a visit.
I tried the hot chocolate couple of times and a chocolate brownie cake and carrot cake. The cake were delicious and so hot chocolate with it. They also do have range of vegan cakes and cookies. Nice atmosphere in the corner with couch to chat with your friends.
Amazing coffee ! One of the best coffees I've had in a long time! Took beans home as well and equally good ! Totally recommended!
This was our second and last visit. The first time the coffee was very decent. Its a good cup. But service was slow. This time there was a kids party going on, and we were advised there would be a delay with drinks of 15 mins. Not a massive problem I suppose but not worth staying. Plus the toilets are vile! 4 stars lat time. Zero This time. So 3 out of 5.
