Offbeat Beauty Collective

I've been going to Offbeat for over a year and a half for manicures and the occasional pedicure in summer. Nico does the prettiest nails. No design is too ambitious. What I love about Offbeat is that they care for your nails over time. Nico has managed to take my nails from being short, peeling and damaged to long and strong, and they always look amazing! The atmosphere is always warm and inviting. Every nail artist is great to have a chat with. It's LGBTQ+ and very neurodiverse friendly as well which is always a plus.

I've been seeing Lucy for, well, a year today actually! I've alays enjoyed my visits, having been conditioned to accept that having my nails done is a painful process with split cuticles and sanded down nail plates and that awful "pulling" feeling on ill fitted extensions with substandard acylic slapped on them, lucy introduced me to a world of nail forms and sculpted art which....oh my hecking heck. She's patient and understanding of neurodiverse clients and always handles my autistic obsession with glitter and neons and texture, I just can't say enough good things about her and her colleagues. I love the new place, and the wall of glitter pots, and the fact it's just a few doors away from my games shop and around the corner from Baccus.

This is the best nail salon I’ve ever been to! Honestly Lucy is my monthly therapy at this stage! My nails are always stunning and I always get compliments. They also last beautifully! The hand massage at the end does wonders for a prior hand injury that has given me permanent hand damage and Lucy is so careful with that hand too. Everyone who works there is stunning too and so welcoming! I moved 45 minutes away and I still make the effort every month and always will! Thank you as always for being such a safe space for me to be me and feel incredible!
