Jagged Globe

My husband and I joined the ‘intro to ski touring’ course. It was just what we needed. Catalin, our guide supported and guided us through each step. Rush Peak and Hunza Valley 2023: This was an excellent and very enjoyable trek through some amazing mountains in a beautiful and very friendly country. Jagged Globe logistics worked without a hitch and great accommodation was provided in-country before and after the trek. The food provided at camp was superb as was the support received from all the guides and porters. The route was interesting and took us through some stunning scenery and to some amazing camp sites. The camp kit was good and a mess tent and loo tent were available at all sites. I would unreservedly recommend this trip to anyone who is a competent and confident walker and enjoys the great outdoors. However it should be made clear that some of the paths are challenging in terms of gradient, surface and the amount of exposure, and the glacier crossings can be interesting!

Jagged Globe did a great job - fun ski tour guide, super group and excellent day tours even if the visibility less than ideal. The hotel served good food and was comfortable.

Professional and fun at the same time. I have been with Jagged Globe on a number of trips now ranging from Scottish winter mountaineering, to rock climbing in Wales and mountaineering in the Alps. All of them were great. Dealt with the people in the office a number of times, always very efficient and friendly.The mountain instructors are very experienced, take the mountains super serious but are great fun at the same time. Group numbers are kept small enough to make sure you have the full attention of the instructors, yet still big enough to have a good atmosphere as well. Logistics are well looked after, and the Haute Route which has quite some logistics to it, ran like clockwork. Looking forward to head out into the very big mountains (Himalayas) with them next year.

I did the winter mountaineering course with Jagged Globe which was a thoroughly enjoyable week, and is one which I would highly recommend for anyone looking to improve their winter mountaineering skills. Jagged Globe are excellent.
