Nice place, very up to date and had everything we needed, Bit of a fuss getting in the building with all the codes you get given and having to pick the keys up from a petrol station was a little strange. Taking £100 deposit for a week was a little annoying as they also took £100 for my friends room out of my bank and we only stayed 1 night, but still was a nice place to stay and would stay again.
Perfect for a night / long term stay. I’ve stayed for a week and it’s been exactly what I needed. Only downside is the washer is a washer dryer and my blacks were covered in fluff.. not wearable (bring your lint roller). Kitchen is great, only missing scissors. *Dishwasher tabs, washing up bits, and soap, conditioner, body wash, iron, fan - all included* Tv is great, just rubbish speakers but that’s expected. Bed was decent, fine for me but others may struggle with the springs. Nice bathroom.
So first night. Explained to the company we was going to arrive late and they said it wasn't a problem. Picked up the keys from pick up pont easy enough. Got into the apartment all looked well. Until we tried to use the blind to find out it was broken and wouldn't go up or down properly. Sat on the sofa to watch some TV with arriving late. Aerial wasn't plugged in. TV remote hardly worked. Took 30 minutes to get it going. Fell asleep on the sofa with my partner. Next day come went to a festival and out in town for a few drinks afterwards. To come back from a long day. Hardly sit on the bed and it collapsed. Lifted up the mattress to fix it to see the frame already snapped and the bed was hardly being held up by wooden blocks. So I reported this at 3am. For them to tell me I needed photo evidence. As I was in a rush i didn't have time. The company only messaged after check out time to tell me they can only file an investigation and can't guarantee a refund. Absolutely livid. There was also mold in the freezer. Do not recommend staying here.
Pick up key from a garage. Don't trip over kerb like my wife did. Get access by entering a four figure code . Failed to mention press key symbol first and after. Heavy staining on landing near door to a decent space ruined by it hadn't been properly cleaned. Burgers three weeks past date ,blueberries, plus in freezer. Floor had plastic bits and dust plus footmarks. TV remote had tipex to highlight volume and channel control. Unfortunately battery's were also past best before date. Had to turn set off at wall and volume was on high. Only two pint glasses, no small or wine glasses. They had put it up for rental and people had been in earlier in week. Probably after cleaners. Bed was clean as was bathroom but the team or individual had failed to view the footprints of a bloke who's daughter is interested. He had a cuppa with me in Yellow Arches. He knew exactly what I was complaining about. I couldn't believe it when he said he'd been earlier in week. Opulence, tested us to our limit. Eight minutes walk to return key in opposite direction to main carparks in area. Nuff said.
I'm very disappointed with your company, of course I'll comment on it on social media. no one came to solve the problems of the apartment and clearly they rented it with problems. starting with the cleaning which was not in good condition, I had to clean everything. the intercom that doesn't work, all deliveries I had to predict the arrival time through the app. one of my conditions when I rented the property was for my comfort and tranquility. but this was challenged to me at all times in that place and by the company's lack of attention to me. the internet and tv didn't work, local tv sometimes only… a doctor neighbor helped me and gave me my own wi.fi password since the company didn't care at all about the countless emails I sent.
