Abbeydale Ballroom

I recently visited the Abbeydale Ballroom and had an amazing experience from start to finish. The atmosphere was warm, elegant, and welcoming—perfect for a night out, a celebration, or just enjoying a great drink in a beautiful setting. A special shout-out goes to Tobie, one of the bartenders. His service was exceptional. Not only were his cocktails perfectly crafted, but he was also incredibly friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable about the menu. Tobie took the time to make personalized recommendations and made sure everyone at the bar felt welcomed and looked after. It’s rare to find someone who combines skill with genuine hospitality, and Toby absolutely stood out. Overall, the Abbeydale Ballroom delivered fantastic ambiance, great drinks, and unforgettable service. I’ll definitely be coming back!

This was our second visit to Abbeydale Ballroom, having had a ‘not great’ experience on our first trip. Largely thanks to the Assistant Manager Jake, and his bad attitude. We’d made a conscious decision to give this lovely venue another chance because it really is a great place. Lovely cocktails, nice pizzas, and lovely staff. Apart from Jake. We were attended to on this visit by Harry, who ran the pool room bar, and our experience this time couldn’t have been more different. Informative, attentive and polite Harry is a credit to the place. Having been told 2 weeks ago that our custom wasn’t needed when simply enquiring about the pool hire costs, we counted 7 other people in the building on a cold Tuesday night. This is a newly opened venue, with great potential. I’m sure word will spread quickly about what a cool place it is. We’ll definitely be back.

Went with a group of friends as they advertised gluten free pizza, however, upon arriving on a Saturday night we were told that they didn't have any that day, and the majority of their other food was breaded, so very limited options when we had only gone there because it advertised as being inclusive to our group. There is also a very dodgy step coming into the main area, and several people had fallen that day, it didn't seem very safe. The food for those who were able to have it was decent.

Something for everyone, great food and super friendly staff. The barman Harry was not only extremely personable but really knew his stuff when it came to cocktails. We all had a great night and look forward to our next trip to Sheffield.

The cocktails were amazing. Great atmosphere and a great game of darts. Staff were really friendly. Harry’s knowledge of cocktails was refreshing along with his cheery disposition. I would definitely visit again
