Dan the bar man is absolutely outstanding! He crafted some of the best cocktails I’ve ever had – from a perfectly balanced Mojito and smooth Espresso Martini to a refreshing Strawberry Daiquiri and a spot-on Tommy’s Margarita. Each drink was made with real care and attention to detail. On top of the exceptional cocktails, Dan brings service with a smile and a genuinely friendly, welcoming manner that makes the whole experience even better. He has a great way of making you feel at ease and clearly takes pride in what he does. If you’re looking for top-notch cocktails and fantastic service, Dan is the one to see. Highly recommend!

Had a great experience here for a party with a buffet. The food was tasty, well laid out, and they were really good with allergies, which made everyone feel at ease. Charlotte was especially lovely, super friendly, helpful and took the time to explain everything clearly. The bar itself had a great atmosphere too, relaxed and welcoming, which made the whole event even better. Would definitely recommend!

Went for a roast and unfortunately the meal was so disappointing and not worth the money, I’d almost understand if it was very busy but it was quiet when we were seated. The roast potatoes were chewy and rubbery almost like they were cooked a few days ago and reheated, the cauliflower cheese wasn’t creamy or cheesy, the gravy was so thin like water with no flavour, the meet was tough and chewy and the roasted carrots just tasted like they were parboiled. Obviously an off day as I’ve had a lovely roast here before last year, such a shame!

Booked a party in the back room last night. The team were fantastic in helping me organise & couldnt have been anymore helpful on the night. On the evening (think it was Joel & Stacey) were the best, Stacey behind the bar was particularly helful & and kind making sure that there was plently of water to help yourself to as well as being really kind & chatty to all the guests. Thank you so much Lescar. We had a blast. Thank you too for tidying up after us 🙏. Xx

Great little pub with very cosy atmosphere. Spent most of our time in very comfortable function room (engagement celebration), plenty of comfortable seating, good service at the drinks bar and empty glasses cleared regularly from tables. Very nice go too pub for functions and celebrations. There are 2 good size car parks opposite the pub but you need to be early as they fill up very quickly. All together we had a very enjoyable evening. Give it a try.
