While exploring Sheffield, I was really craving an authentic desi breakfast or brunch—something that felt like home. Abbeydale Road offered plenty of options, with many popular franchises that looked stylish but often lacked that genuine homemade touch. After reading recent glowing reviews, I decided to support a small, independent business—Pakistan Cafe. From the outside, the windows were steamed up, which didn’t initially scream “premium,” but there was a certain rustic charm that felt inviting and real. The service was warm and welcoming from the moment we stepped in. We ordered:  The classic special omelette  Channa daal  Aloo and plain parantha  Karak chai Everything arrived freshly prepared—the paranthas and omelette were made to order, and the channa daal had clearly been cooked just before we arrived. A lovely touch: the karak chai was served in traditional clay cups, which added to the authenticity. The food was bursting with flavour and truly reminded me of home cooking. It was clear that care and tradition went into every dish. All of this came at incredible value. Highly recommend this hidden gem. The service was attentive, and they clearly understand that getting the food right is what matters most—something you could taste in every bite. A fantastic experience from start to finish. Will definitely return!
Been several times now and it gets better each time! Very quickly become a household favourite of ours. Really beautiful home cooked food for a very good price. Excited to work my way through the whole menu! Staff are all lovely and welcoming
I recently tried some street food and it was absolutely delicious! The flavors were rich, bold, and perfectly balanced every bite felt fresh and full of taste. The aroma itself was so inviting that it made the experience even more enjoyable.
I placed an order at 11:30 am today. They deliver on their own. Very disappointing response. I had to ring for 3 hours straight for them to show up. And they won’t pick up the phone. Careful you can’t cancel the order once paid. And uber is as useless too! Overall, worst experience.
brilliant recent addition to Abbeydale Rd. We stopped by looking for takeaway dinner a bit late on Sunday, and we were really well looked after by these guys, despite being sat down to eat their own dinner. Received good recommendations for veggie options, and 3 of us were fed for only £22. The dishes and breads were excellent. Looking forward to coming back and working through the rest of the menu!
