Honestly, one of the best roasts we have ever had, and I don't take those kinds of statements lightly. Usually avoid the beef at most places as it is very hit and miss but this was cooked to PERFECTION. You could pull that brisket apart by breathing on it. Just need to go through the rest of the roast menu now. 6 stars.
Everything was pretty great. There was a little mistake with on of the meals, got beef instead of pork, but that was rectified immediately. Service was really quick, the staff works really hard. My chips were a bit bitter - maybe the cooking oil hasn't been changed. The rest was pretty tasty.
This is a fantastic pub located on Abbeydale Road in Sheffield. There are loads of different drinks choices to suit all tastes. The members of staff were very friendly indeed, and the place was clean with a nice atmosphere. I did not eat here so I cannot comment on the food. I would highly recommend this pub! ☆☆☆☆☆
Fist time here - pricy, but worth it for the atmosphere. Lovely scotch eggs. Spacious beer garden with a covered patio area.
I have been occassionally visiting The Broadfield for many years since when they held live music but never eaten there previously. I visited today Tuesday 24/06/25 as i had planned to call into another local bar that was closed. I sat in the outside courtyard with a pint of lager and noticed the food looked quite nice. I was previously told that the food is of a very good quality so after speaking to one of the friendly bar staff i decided on the Homemade Steak and Ale pie Homemade Chunky Chips with Mushy Peas and House Gravy. I was served by a pleasant young lady. The meal consisted of a Pie the size of a Pukka Pie eight stacked chunky home cooked chips and half a tin of mushy peas. The Pie was warm and crust rock hard the meat was gristly the chips only warm the mushy peas barely warm and so was the gravy. The pie looked as though it was cooked at Noon and served to me at 7pm. This meal was a total dissapointment and cost £15.50 for warm dry Pie Chips Peas and gravy. The upside is the staff are pleasant and helpful but i wouldn't eat here again but certainly not after 4pm. I hate being negative but the meal was that poor on this occassion and the same pies were being served as i finished mine. Yes i did eat it i would't send something back i just most likely not eat at The Broadfield again
