An absolute scam. I actually went to the machine, entered the reg, paid on contactless. It said successful. Fine came through the door 2 weeks later. I checked my bank and nothing gone out. I paid the reduced £60. Bank shows as paid. Now get another letter through saying I now owe £100! How is this legal?
Hopeless effort of a car park if you happen to need more than 30mins. Now only allows payment through an app, (machine broke) but the Twin Pay app is at best patchy and at worst simply doesn't work. Tried calling to pay on helpline. Guess what? Yep no one answered. Seems like a scam or just mind blowing incompetence either way avoid avoid. Such a shame it used to be great!
Paid parking fee here and I have proof, Retail Park are charging £70, then £100 then £170.00. I’ve appealed with proof of evidence, they do not respond or contact either by email or letter.. they are operating a fraudulent company and hoping that some innocent person will pay or be scared of a false claim!! This is happening frequently to, to many innocent people. Please Be aware !!!!
I have just received a parking fine of £100 "discounted" for parking in this supposed shopping centre. You do not park in a shopping centre that you're actually shopping and expect to receive a fine! This is diabolical on so many levels! I parked there to go shop in Tesco's. After shopping in Tesco I went to donate items to the salvation army, came back and went into Tesco again, then went to Costa coffee. As soon as I got back in my car I had a panic attack. You have no idea what people go through and encounter on a day to day. The weekend I had I barely made it to that Monday and felt as if my heart was going to explode! I couldn't breathe or move. It took my confidant ages to get me to a stage where I could get back home! The last thing I expected was to see a letter of a parking fine! You people are evil! Had I known this would have happened I would have driven pass that shopping centre to another grocery store and put all those charity items in the bin!
Good carpark attached to a small shopping arcade on the edge of Sheffield. Parking is free for an hour or £1 for 2 hours. It's handy if you want to stop for a coffee or visit the nearby Botanical Gardens. I noticed some reviews mentioned fines and parking time starts the moment you enter the carpark, not when you get a parking space. I parked for 2 hours and had plenty of time to visit the Botanical Gardens and have a coffee.
