I've had these Matterhorns for 25-30 years. I'd rarely worn them for the past 15 years as due to some of the eyelets being worn, they'd fray and literally destroy a set of laces in one use. Two metre laces don't come cheap! Steve replaced the bottom four rows of 'hole' eyelets with D-ring type and also the next row with the same 'hole' type. A great price for great workmanship that has resurrected a pair of (£400/500) boots that other 'traditional' cobblers wouldn't touch. Best £15 I've ever spent!

Fantastic service as always. I have had all my boots sorted here for years and never been disappointed. Great work and also great prices and friendly customer service. Gave me a discount as i brought 2 pairs in then had to do loads of extra work for no charge. Thanks again. Will keep coming back.

An excellent repair on a pair of Red Wing Iron Ranger boots. The eyelets of my boots had caused wear and tear on the leather tongues to a point where a hole had formed on one boot. The kind gentleman glued and stiched matching pieces of leather into each boot and adjusted the abrasive eyelets. Very good pricing and very happy with the repair, I would highly recommend this cobbler.

Revived my favourite pair of knackered Five Tens with a resole (done for the second time here) and some repairs to the stitching. Appreciate the attention to detail on this job which other cobblers wouldn’t touch! Highly recommended old school craftsmanship.
