I’ve taken hundred of pounds worth of goods to this charity shop, never had a problem until last week I turned up at the shop 30 minutes before it closed and was told they couldn’t take delivery of the bag of goods I’d brought because it was “too late” and a “health and safety concern “. What bull. I told the lady if yhey didn’t take this bag off my hands I’d never bring any more donations. She stood her ground and I took my goods to Help The Aged charity shop around the corner where all my future donations will go. What a ridiculous set up!

Just to set the record straight as I cannot reply to Mike Shenton personally (although i have reported his review for lying), this individual is twisting the truth to rant about how he couldn't dump his donations on a FULL charity shop. I was there for this event and I saw the back office from the front of the shop - they had a day full of donations and were completely packed. Mike Shenton was very rude to the staff member in charge and she was the one who recommended he try Age UK in the first place! He was just upset he had to walk around one corner (the shops are almost adjacent honestly). Please ignore this individual's review, the shop is absolutely lovely and I can't even fathom the audacity and entitlement of this individual.

Just spoke to a lovely person on the phone who answered my question about donations of CDs/DVDs etc very helpfully and courteously. Every time I've been there, the staff are wonderful, so polite and friendly, the shop is so clean and fresh and really good prices and range of stock. I think Marie Curie is my favourite charity shop in Sheffield!

Favourite charity shop in Sheffield, I live on the other side of the city and will always travel here! The staff are super lovely, super dog friendly and they always have the best bric-a-brac.. if I need something for the house, they always seem to have it. Definitely number 1
