Fireplace Factory & Stove Centre Sheffield

We have been really happy with Fireplace Factory. We were looking to convert our boarded-over fireplace into a working fireplace with wood burner. The advice we received was so valuable - David knew everything about what would work best in our situation, including a lot of detail which we would never have considered. In the end, we have a fireplace and a fire which we are really happy with, and without that knowledge, we would have ended up going down a route which wouldn't have worked. Installation team were good too and easy to deal with. The only slight downside was that the plasterer they used didn't provide a perfect finish - you can see where the new plaster joins with the old and I spent a fair amount of time filling and sanding to improve this but it's still noticeable (at least to me).

The whole experience end to end from Dave and his team was second to none.. the quality of the goods, the installation and the prices were fantastic. I Highly recommend if your looking for a new fireplace and surround you really need to look no further, many thanks Simon & Nic

We purchased an electric fire & surround for our newly refurbished house & the service we received both in the showroom & installation was excellent. The showroom is tucked away down a side street & packed with so many different styles to chose from. Gill was very informative explaining the differences & David came out to check that we could indeed fit our chosen style into our new home. Roy & his colleague were meticulous with the fitting, & we are so pleased with our new fire & surround. After already visiting two other showrooms before the fireplace factory it was lovely to receive such great service from start to finish.

Great service and customer care from the first time you walk in the door. Absolutely no pressure or rush - the team take you through the process step by step to ensure you have the right stove for your room in the setting you want. After initial survey at home, the appointment at the shop is excellent and you are taken through in detail to make sure that you get want you both want and need. Pricing is clear and itemised. Good communication about fitting and they did a brilliant, tidy job. We opted to have no surround and have the bricks restored in the recess. Pictures show stove in situ following fitting - still needs decorating and new carpet. (Lights in recess are an Amazon purchase of rechargeable magnetic lights and not part of the fit) Really please with the outcome and would definitely recommend.

Very helpful staff, without any pressure selling. Many different options, the difficult part is choosing the fire, surround and hearth! Replaced a condemned gas fire (see photos of original fire to new one) with log burner. Alex the fitter was superb, removef our old gas fire to expose the original Victorian opening, then cleaned the bricks (see bricks before and after), they look great. Fitted a flue liner, logburner, slate hearth and surround. He left no mess, lying dust sheets. He even managed to work around our wallpaper. It has transformed our lounge.
