Tramlines 2025: Pulp, Kasabian and The Reytons Top the Bill for Unmissable Weekend

Welcome to Yorkshire

Published on November 26th, 2024

Sheffield’s Tramlines Festival is back and bigger than ever for its 16th year and the 2025 line up is incredible. Running from 25th-27th July in Hillsborough Park this year’s festival promises amazing performances, big local moments and a celebration of all things Sheffield. Whether you’re a music obsessive or just looking for a good time there’s something for everyone.

So what makes this year’s Tramlines the one to watch?

Tramlines Festival

Friday: Pulp’s homecoming (and their handpicked line-up)

The main act of the weekend is Sheffield’s very own Pulp. For fans of Jarvis Cocker and the gang this is a big deal—Pulp are headlining Friday and curating the whole main stage line up for the day. They haven’t played in Sheffield since 2000 so this is a rare opportunity to see them live.

And joining them on Friday are Spiritualized, Baxter Dury, Oracle Sisters and Hot Chip DJ set and I Monster (remember “Daydream in Blue”?)

Saturday: The Reytons and Yorkshire Pride

Saturday is The Reytons turn. A Rotherham band that have gone from local heroes to national stars. Their top of the bill slot is a big moment for Yorkshire music. Supporting them are Franz Ferdinand, Rizzle Kicks and Natasha Bedingfield.

And there’s more: Jake Bugg, Heather Small, The Futureheads and the Everly Pregnant Brothers to keep it local.

Sunday: Kasabian wind it up

The festival ends on Sunday with Kasabian, one of the UK’s biggest rock bands. Before they go out with a bang there’s The Last Dinner Party, The Lathums and Sigrid.

CMAT, Scouting for Girls, The Sherlocks, Cliffords and The Royston Club.

Beyond the Music: Trees, relish, and community

Tramlines has always been more than just a music festival. This year the team have planted a row of new trees in Hillsborough Park, working with Sheffield City Council Community Forestry and local school kids to give back to the area. The Tramlines Trust have also given out over £30,000 in grants to 36 local causes, that’s £260,000 since 2018.

And then there’s the Hendos drama. Henderson’s Relish have caused a stir by “accidentally” putting parts of the line up on their bottles. They’ve apologised (kind of) but it’s only added to the excitement in the city.
