Set in a lovely quiet location only 10 mins from Pickering. Spotlessly clean studio room with comfortable beds and a very handy kitchenette. The courtyard area is a wonderful place for sitting out. Jan and Duncan are a lovely, friendly couple and perfect hosts.

We stayed off season 2015, we had an amazing time visiting the North Yorkshire Moors area. The accommodation was fantastic, clean, warm and very quiet! The hosts are friendly and we even got a complimentary jar of jam which was delicious. Would definitely recommend. Also bonus points for working wifi.

We enjoyed our stay at Rawcliffe House. It is in a lovely location with fantastic views. We stayed in the studio rooms which were clean and tidy. We had a very warm welcome from Duncan and really enjoyed the muffins Jan made. It was a great central place to stay for visiting places in the area. A couple of things let it down. One was the uncomfortable beds. They were very hard and creaky. My back and hips really suffered unfortunately. I would suggest maybe providing a mattress topper for those guests who like a bit of softness in their mattress. The doors are quite creaky so it's easy to wake others up when using the toilet during the night. The Wi-Fi signal was non existent inside the room and you can only access mobile signal by holding your phone next to the window. Despite that our stay was lovely and charming and we had a few funny moments with the ducks. Thanks Duncan and Jan :)

My wife and I recently had the absolute pleasure of taking a break at Rawcliffe House Farm. The beauty of the area combined with the excellent accommodation and wonderful welcome we received made us want to go back for more! The cottage we stayed in was very well equipped with everything we could need to provide meals, although there are some excellent take aways and restaurants in Pickering and surrounding area. The heating was easy to use so we were cosy even at the beginning of November. The bedroom and bathroom were of a very high standard. The owners, Jan and Duncan went to great lengths to ensure our comfort and even provided information for all the walks and activities around the local area and the nearby coast. I highly recommend a stay at Rawclife House Farm and will be going back as soon as possible!
