Travelling back to Manchester from Whitby on a Saturday morning we hit flood water which partially pulled loose one of the underside engine covers which then proceeded to drag along the road underneath the car. Rawcliffe Motors was the nearest garage. Rang ahead and John was amazing when we arrived. He quickly put the car on the ramp and removed the broken part so that we could continue our journey. He also refused to charge us for the work. A brilliant garage and owner who I would thoroughly recommend to anyone in the Pickering area. Thank you John once again.

My friend and I were visiting Stape on a riding holiday when my Land Rover Disco developed a steering fault on a Friday evening. We called at the garage and thankfully were asked to leave the car and it would be looked at in the morning. John phoned and explained the problem and did a quick fix enabling us to travel the 120 mile trip home towing 2 horses . I am extremely grateful to him especially as this was was over a week end and would highly recommend this garage.

Took my van in for routine service and cam belt change. Collected the vehicle brakes were serviced, hand brake sticking. Part of the work involved changing the water pump. Drive the vehicle went in to fault mode called the RAC one of the water hoses was off the RAC fitted and then took back yesterday no hot air for the heater took it back again Then told the van needs a head gasket they have no time or do not want to do the works. We I asked the. What about the costs John’s reply was it’s one of those. Now the van is in another garage for repair had to hire a van. My van was working fine it only went in for a service and cam belt Now the van is at another to be repaired. STAY AWAY.
