Just spent two lovely days at the White Swan caravan park. Very relaxing and a lovely welcome from Paul the site manager. Definitely recommend a meal in the pub too. One of the best Sunday lunches we’ve had in a pub. Hubby did a bit of fishing too. Really great place to stay.
We've stayed here on more than a few occasions at a permanent caravan and feel very at home on this site. The pub is nearby and runs the camping area. Guy and Nina are approachable and helpful. We often end up ordering food, have seen a band in the beer garden and enjoy the drinks. There's also a playground in the village that's a short walk if you turn left when leaving the site. We're often more than happy at the caravan, playing with our child on a small patch of grass or on a larger patch opposite. We've also been on walks from the public footpath that passes by the side of the camping area. Love it here.
Lovely quiet camping site with clean toilets and hot showers. Hosts and fellow campers couldn’t have been nicer.
Had a lovely burger, fresh ingredients, presented very well and delicious. Staff were polite and friendly and we went in the bar afterwards to have a cracking pint of hand pulled real ale, which was top class. Definately worth a visit if you like a good meal
Love this place. The pub is lovely the village and locals are friendly. Campsite is at the back of the pub. You can hear the steam trains in the valley below.
