What a joy to have a thriving pub in a historic West Yorkshire town centre. We visited with friends on Saturday evening and had a meal at the 1814 restaurant adjacent. Fabulous food and very friendly, warm, attentive service. My partner claimed it was the best lasagne he had tasted! Hope it is well supported. Would definitely return. Deserves success!
Went for family dinner and enjoyed their Autumn menu, very friendly staff and relaxing, cosy atmosphere. Definitely recommend as food is delicious and plenty of options to choose from. 😊🧆🍲🥦

Well this is quite a gem that you may not find, service is good and the bar drink prices are very good. Food is really well presented and restaurant area is spacious and the decor is nice. Bathrooms are clean If you haven’t visited I would recommend you do, a catch up with friends and family, special occasions, work drinks
Booked for our family Christmas get together. The room was beautiful, the staff fabulous. We had a table booked for 1pm & told on arrival we had the table untill 2,20 pm, I was not happy. Not enough time to chat & enjoy our meal. We had to make the decision whether to have a starter or a dessert not enough time for both. Such a same, the food was nice the afternoon was disappointing x
