Been waiting to dine here for ages and finally got round to it this week , wow feel like I've missed out on so many quality , reasonably priced , very tasty meals . The lasagne was the best I've ever tasted and I will definitely be ordering the same again next time . Lovely friendly staff , varying menu , very clear allergy / ingredient guidelines . We went Friday tea time , it wasn't busy as it was early so food served quickly but definitely didn't feel rushed and stayed a couple of hours enjoying a nice relaxing time. Can't wait to go again

We've been meaning to try this restaurant since it opened and finally managed on Saturday night. When I booked they explained that they had a large table of 20 in so could be quite busy. No problem for us. Unfortunately it seems that booking had cancelled ? Shame for them as when we got there there was 6 other people in and at one point we were the only 2 in the place so a bit of a lack of atmosphere.... but clearly not their fault. Service was brilliant. Lovely attentive staff. Delicious food although would say pizzas were a little too heavy. Needs a much thinner base. Mixed platter starter was excellent. Great value for money. Shame we couldn't tip them as they can't add to card payments and we didn't really have any cash.

Went twice for breakfast both times food was not good. Bacon burnt but somehow not cooked properly(too high) always black like they never clean the top. Eggs were overcooked. We went yesterday and the amount of things that were wrong were unreal! Only just opened yet no knives and forks (borrowed off another table) no napkins. Wasn't asked if we wanted any sauce or salt (eventually found itmyself) no juice for children. Watered down pure orange (disguitsing) we could tell straightaway. We called to shop and got some fruit shoot. The place was dirty, old pieces of food on table and floors, bathrooms dirty, utensils needed cleaning before used. Bathrooms were dirty too also the menu that they handed to us were covered in food. The chips were served in a rusty bucket with no paper on bottom protecting them and tasted gross. Like really dirty, the bottom of the pizza was black from the filthy pans that havnt obviously been cleaned and it tasted it too. Pizza looks nice but tastes horrible. I wish i had taken a photo of the kitchen area where the hot plate and chip pan was because they too were horrible. Dirty grease splattered all over and the breacrumbs from food stuck all down sides.Place needs a really good deep clean but also why not clean after service every shift?they 100% dont. the floor wouldn't be like it is. We won't be going back and waisting our money. Such a shame.

Visited for the first time today for a working lunch with my Mum. Really friendly staff, lovely decor and the pizza was delicious.. and huge!! Nice to have a slightly more upmarket place to eat in the high street, and I think a welcome addition to the existing cafes. We will definitely be visiting again.

My wife and daughter went today, boxing day, for the first time, to celebrate my daughter's birthday. We were totally impressed by the internal decoration of the restaurant. Our meals were equally impressive. I had the steak parmagiano, it was delicious. My wife and daughter had lasagne and were equally pleased with their meal. It is so nice to have this restaurant in Normanton.
