Special curry + fried rice Good: chargrilled flavour on the onions within the curry sauce added a new flavour. Neutral: The curry had a different kind of flavour I believe it to be more of a southern fried gravy with curry mix. Good amount of egg in the fried rice. Nit so good: although I think the meats let it down. Pork did taste of wax or oil that's collected. The beef was not tender. The shrimp had a very funny taste. Fried rice lacked flavour. S&p spare ribs Good: good amount of ribs, onions, and peppers. Not soo good: The peppers weren't cooked more on the raw side.not enough spice or garlic flavour. The ribs were laid in water or liquid. Chicken in Chinese sauce Good: crispy chicken with good flavour. Not soo good: too many bean sprouts. Prawn cracks were soft and stale. Overall, I would not rush to go back but I feel this place could be improved with little tweaks.

The people at Canton are so rude, placed an order, they read order back to me, order arrived and a curry missing, ring up to be told oh I must have missed putting it on, you haven't been charged, I said well you have sent the rice for it, then he says so if you want it you will have to pay and have it delivered again, jog on, will find a new Chinese. Never had a problem with previous owners. Food was nice what we recieved, delivery driver was lovely, just the incapable person answering the phone

This is a fantastic Chinese takeaway. The food is consistently fresh and delicious, with a huge menu that truly has something for everyone, whether you're a creature of habit or love to explore new dishes. The flavors are excellent and you can tell they use quality ingredients. On top of the great food, the service is always friendly, fast, and efficient. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a truly satisfying meal.

Visited the first time since it’s changed hands. I’m afraid I was somewhat disappointed. Prawn crackers were soft, like they’ve been left out for a while. I know they were “free”, but good quality crackers done right, like before, make a real different impression. Salt and pepper chicken wings were noticeably not as crispy as before and a bit over salty. Rest of the food were so so. Having been going there for some years and always thought it was the best in Normanton, I was disappointed this has some way to go to recapture that magic. My best wishes to the new owners.
