As a family, we couldn’t recommend Burgess’ enough. The love, care, compassion and support we all felt throughout the whole process with them from start to finish is honestly unmatched. I couldn’t have imagined a more beautiful service for my great gran and we are all so utterly grateful for everything that has been done for us. You can tell that everyone at Burgess’ really loves what they do and loves supporting families during such tough times, and how good are they at doing it! Thank you so much to each and every one of you. You’ve truly knocked it out of the park once again, and I know my great gran would have been so pleased with the outcome on the day we said our final goodbyes.

I would just like to thank all the staff at R J Burgess for your time, consideration and support during this sad time for myself and my family. They were all professional in every way and nothing was too much trouble. All our wishes and needs were met, and queries answered. We had the most beautiful, memorable send off for my mum because they all went above and beyond to make it happen. A special thanks to Debbie for consistently going above and beyond with the utmost care and consideration for me and my family. The day would not have gone as smoothly without her outstanding efforts in the weeks leading up to it. I couldn’t recommend this company enough. We cannot thank RJ Burgess enough for the considerate and professional way they dealt with dad's funeral. David was an abolsute star in organising everything and made a very difficult time much more bearable, and Diane made a wonderful job with the Order of Service for the funeral. Nothing was too much trouble and everything was handled with care and sensitivity. We would definitely recommend them.

Every single member of staff are absolutely amazing. Ian was the funeral director for my wife’s funeral yesterday and guided me through the process with class and compassion. I went everyday to see my wife and was always greeted warmly, with a smile and of course a coffee. Whether it be Ian, Bob, Debbie, Christine, Andy, Tom or John all greeted me with a smile and showed real care. Would highly recommend using Burgess. Thanks all from Rob and the kids x

Losing Tracy has been a heartbreaking loss, and we will never be able to express just how much the love, compassion, and dignity shown by Debbie meant to us as a family — but even more so, to our beloved Tracy.
