We needed a haulage company to move 2 engineering machines consisting of 7 parts to be lifted from corby to the north east so I put it out to tender on my usual platforms giving full details of the load to be carried (dimensions weight etc) Kieran came back with a quote that was acceptable to me so I gave the go ahead ! His communication is almost none existent and after many texts and WhatsApp’s and calls he started communicating with me at 4pm the day before the pickup and I received a message at 23.28pm sayin the driver would be down at 1pm-2pm at the latest (I booked him a good week before the pickup) The driver turned up at 2pm in a vehicle moving truck (totally unacceptable for moving engineering machines) I was under pressure to get the machines out of the unit they were in so we loaded the machine onto the truck 1 hour to load and 1 hour to strap them down acceptably I was told the drop off would be the next day so I left to drive back up to the north east At 9pm that night I received a message saying that the price was 20% more than his original quote saying I took the whole body of the truck and I would receive the invoice that night which I didn’t and I had told him that everything he quoted for was correct size weight amount of items etc and it wasn’t my fault he sent the wrong truck so I wasn’t prepared to pay more than his quote I didn’t think much of it until I received the invoice the next morning when I called him up straight away to discuss this Wow ! His attitude was nothing like I have ever heard before in 30 years of Buisness off a supplier He was very aggressive and said to me you pay this bill before the driver unloads or I turn the driver around and you don’t get your machines (value 9k) and he wouldn’t be dealing with me again because I was a pest with all the texts and calls I made to him (I find this so funny 😂) I instantly started making call’s to find out my rights and was advised off the police not to inflame the situation and get video evidence of you disputing the price and with feeling threatened it was up to me but paying the bill and going for the money back later would probably be the best way to do it or to call 999 straight away if it got too threatening and if the driver left with my machines it would be classed as theft So I took the advice and took videos of me explaining to the driver I wasn’t happy with the price increase but begrudgingly paid the invoice with the extra 20% and unloaded the machines IF YOU CHOOSE TO USE THIS COMPANY PLEASE BE AWARE OF MY EXPERIENCE Trading standards will be getting a call after this review

Had an unfortunate scrape with a parked car in my own vehicle. Took my car to Yorkshire smart solutions and they had it fixed within 48 hours. Completed the job to a very high standard, would go as far as saying the finish is better than factory!

Extremely impressed with the efficiency and quality of work done by the guys here! Someone drove into the back of my Fiat 500 and they did a brilliant job at getting it looking brand new. Would highly recommend!

I used Yorkshire Smart solutions on the back of a recommendation from a friend who thought they did a great job on her car. I completely agree, the service they provided was quality, professional and also good value. I had a large didn't in my boot that they managed to fix at a great price. I would recommend and definitely use again should I need to.

I had a run in with another vehicle and rather than going through the insurance went to Kieran directly at YSS. He liaised with the third party and took all the stress away from me. He organised the repairs and the whole thing was done to an impeccable standard over the course of a few days at a great cost. Both the third party and myself are really happy with the workmanship and would highly recommend YSS to anyone.
