I've had a few bad experiences with hair colours at previous different salons and paid a fortune only to be dissatisfied, I went to Studio Normanton the stylists knew what I wanted and delivered, I have had so many lovely comments about the colours and cut cannot recommend this salon enough lovely staff make you feel so welcome. They are also very reasonable price wise

I struggle with anxiety and this impacts being able to get my hair cut. The staff was absolutely amazing, I felt welcomed and comfortable right from the start. Nothing I asked for was too much and they allowed me as much time as I needed. I've definitely found the hairdressers I'll keep going to now 😊

My mum has been coming to this salon for years. She’s had a terrible year, following a horrific car accident, and most recently a crippling non-infectious illness which has led to sores on her neck, which she is very self conscious about. Having not left the house for weeks, she plucked up the courage to pay a visit to familiar faces at the salon and cut her hair. This is the WhatsApp message I’ve just got from her. I’m beyond devastated at how rude people can be. With no thought or compassion for peoples feelings… “Yesterday I was trying to get a haircut because I look mental. I’ve never been so humiliated in my life by the reaction of the hairdresser I use in Normanton. She refused to cut my hair saying I had an infection on my neck and started to put her phone light on it and asking other clients what their thoughts were? I was near to tears, left the the hairdresser and felt I was fine, until I got in the car and burst my eyes out.”

Actually fuming just hearing my mum’s account of how unprofessional her stylist was. My mum has been in the wars over the last year with a car accident, then a knee operation and as an unexpected side effect has come up in rashes with blisters and lesions, with one on her neck which is obviously not ideal and something she’s very self conscious about. Having not been able to get about much she decided to try get a hair cut as it was long overdue. Upon getting to the salon, the stylist (unfortunately don’t know her name) refused to cut her hair saying she had an infection and publicly shamed her in front of other customers, even going as far to shine a phone light on her neck to inspect. My mum left and sat in her car in tears afterwards. Whoever the stylist is needs to learn basic compassion and respect to others. Shameful and disgusting behaviour 😡

Great hairdressers! Had an appointmemt for a cut & blow-dry. The staff are so friendly & made me feel comfortable like a friend. My hairdresser gave me some good advice about my cut which I appreciated. I will definitely go back. Thankyou ladies! Xxx
