Contacted Normanton sports and acro regarding a birthday party for my SEN child. Only form of communication was Facebook messenger. When originally asking for availability I was given the wrong date. Another date was confirmed in which I completed the online booking form, selected my softplay choices and extras and asked if there was an option to pay cash which they stated yes. They stated booking wouldn’t be confirmed until payment was made which wasn’t a problem and I asked if they were open that evening or the following day for me to pay. By the time they had responded I had started work in which they stated it would be ‘helpful’ if I could bring the cash in by 6pm which was only a 1 hour and 50 minute timescale from the time they had sent the message. 6pm had passed by the time I had finished work let alone been on Facebook and my SEN child was having a particularly tough evening in which they had closed by the time I was able to get there. I got in touch at 9am the following day to advise I had been at work when they messaged and asked if I could call in with cash first thing today in which there was no response, the mobile number from google went straight to voicemail so I arranged for someone to look after my child so I could go to the venue and pay in which it was closed. I then received a message 4 hours later that they had booked other work in as they thought I was a ‘no show’. At no point on the booking form or communication prior was a deadline given for payment otherwise I would of explained I was working and would of paid via bank transfer to ensure the deadline was met. My messages, missed calls and voice notes have been ignored since. Poor communication, poor organisation & poor customer service. I wouldn’t recommend to anyone.

Made a enquiry here for my daughter. The lady I spoke to was rude and obnoxious! Obviously this place thrives on bullying people and children.

I am a massive advocate of this business from personal experience. My little girl attends for tumbling and before that she attended the general gymnastics sessions, she has attended the gym camps too. My son attends rebound therapy there too. Both have had birthday parties there, my daughter had the gymnastics party and my son has had the soft play party! Both amazing and amazing price for what you get. The staff are all lovely and the owner is really knowledgeable. They cater for every need and go over and above where ever possible. I cannot recommend this place enough!!

Went to a tumbling competition today to see my granddaughter in her first competition age 6. To say that it is a small building. Everything went like clockwork. The competition was well run and I thoroughly enjoyed myself. Thank you Normanton Sports and Acro club.
