The Little Butty Bus

The little butty bus is an excellent takeaway. It is at North Cave wetlands Tuesday to Sunday. The food is excellent. The burgers are made by a local butcher and are delicious. There is a wide variety of hot and cold sandwiches: chips, breakfasts, pennies, toasties, and sweet treats. Hot and cold drinks. The lovely cakes are homemade. The burgers are a gourmet treat, much better than anything you will find on the high street. No wonder this place is so popular, highly recommended.

Fantastic, stopped off here on Saturday morning after my lads football, service was great and friendly and the sandwiches were made with quality produce, I opted for a sausage, bacon & black pudding the boy had a bacon sandwich. Both were big and cooked perfectly, will definitely be back.

I am vegetarian. I have eaten here several times with friends and the food has been really tasty. In the past when ordering a veggie burgers or halloumi I have been asked if I am vegetarian. The food is freshly prepared and always tasty. Yesterday I went for a walk around the nature reserve and then back to the butty bus for a coffee and a halloumi burger. I was chatting with my wife whilst the food was being prepared and only after starting to eat the halloumi I noticed that it had been cooked on the same hot plate in bacon fat and handled with the same pair of tongs as the meat. Just a warning for the next veggies who may stop there.

Excellent quality hot food. The staff are lovely too.
