Skipwith Station Holidays

Stayed in the Flyer for 2-nights and wasn't disappointed. We were greeted by Mary, the most helpful lady. Carriage was spotless, comfy beds, well kitted out kitchen with everything you need and a fantastic view from every room. Parking was excellent. The weather was up and down and the air con was fab! Location was lovely, so peaceful and great for visiting York. Dog friendly too which was so convenient. Would definitely stay again.

We (family of 3) stayed in the Derwent Mail for 2 nights. We had an issue before coming and the Mary and Graham were so kind and accommodating of a problem that had come up our end. Our stay was absolutely lovely. Unique accommodation in a beautiful setting, all the amenities we needed for our stay. The beds were very comfortable and we all slept wonderfully. Our daughter was unwell during our visit and our hosts were again so responsive and helpful. We can't recommend this accommodation enough, and hope to be back soon for a return visit.

We stayed in Blackberry Halt for our wedding we hosted locally. It was a lovely, spacious place to stay with lots of character in the carriages. The small garden was beautiful and the hot tub a great addition! Mary and Graham were the most gracious and helpful hosts, and very kindly decorated the Halt for us and provided gifts which was very generous of them. Some of our guests stayed in the carriages too which was great and they enjoyed the walk down to the pub. Thank you so much for a wonderful stay!

Excellent place to stay for quiet and to be honest it's why we went. The carriage has everything needed for a comfy and pleasant stay and the owners are very friendly and welcoming. Skipwith common was excellent for the dog. Loved the place and will return. It should go without saying but you will need a car if you intend on going to towns and villages. Can't speak highly enough of Skipwith Station, book it.

We came as a surprise for my husbands birthday, he did a 5 hour drive with no idea where he was going. We came as a family of 4 adults and 1 child and the dog...2 adults and 1 child in the Derwent flyer and 2 adults in the Derwent mail. The coaches were clean, comfortable and exceeded expectations, we loved breakfast at the table overlooking the field seeing what wildlife was around. The added touches of dog biscuits and poo bags were brilliant. Graham and Mary are so welcoming and friendly. We would definitely consider coming back and will recommend to friends. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ thank you 😊
