Cliff Bank Nursery

We loved our visit here. We visited not knowing what to expect and maybe to buy one plant. We were blown away by the well curated selection of lovely perennials most of which you won’t see in a run of the mill nursery or garden centre. This is a really special hidden gem, so much so that we came away with more than a dozen plants. Pot to the front in photo gives an idea of selection. Great advice too from the friendly owner.

Found this little gem, just 10 mins drive from RHS Harlow Carr after an article in RHS magazine. Well worth a slight detour to visit, a lovely welcome and freedom to wander and browse. A unique selection of plants, varieties of which you probably won't find in a larger garden centre. Reasonable prices and labels with extra information. We wish Ben and Laura every success. We will return!

Cliff Bank Nursery is a fabulous nursery with the best quality plants with unusual options. Ben has a world of plant knowledge and great tips on plant combinations. So friendly and definitely worth a trip.

I have just visited Cliff Bank Nursery for the first time, and I will definitely be returning. Lovely friendly, knowledgeable, helpful people. Not a huge site, however, the plants are a bit different from the usual garden centre. I filled my boot!

This is not a garden centre it’s a beautiful small & perfectly formed specialist nursery between Harrogate & Pool in Wharfedale. Sown on site, grown with skill, nurtured with love by Ben & Laura - sprinkled with a little help from the sun & the rain.
