I had the best experience at this library. I was helped by Jo for some printing and her calm demeanour and clear instructions were exactly what my anxious self needed. Thank you

First visit today. Choice of books aside, what a dark and dingy building. Not at street level. It was like going down into a dungeon. I would hate to spend much time there. Even the inside is dark and oppressive. Whoever approved the design/architecture was seriously disturbed. The signage is confusing too, we ended up "round the back". I had to walk past all that dark brick and boarded up windows to find the entrance. The building needs a lick of paint and needs brightening up. It really lets Northallerton down. A bright and buzzy high street and then the library from hell at the end of the town!

I use the home library service, but needed a library card to be able to use the Libby app. Staff were really helpful and sorted it out quickly. The home library service is brilliant, lovely volunteers and always a good selection of books
