Came for lunch; pizzas and burgers- nothing overly mind blowing but was good. Pizzas quite thick doughy base. Price is reasonable. Friendly and smiley staff however took long time for food to arrive despite pub being almost empty (only flaw) Atmosphere is fab, cozy and clean. Fantastic bar in evening with even better atmosphere. Would recommend will be going back!
Fantastic time at the Pumpkin Carving Session. Booked one week in advance at £5pp which then got deducted from food bill. Friends has booked the day before so did not get pumpkins but were able to bring their own. We spent approx an hour carving pumpkins with the tools provided, then everyone ordered food and drinks. Great choice, quality and value. Staff were friendly, professional, service efficient. Everywhere was clean and tidy, the bills were correct and we all had a great time.
Staff tried to be helpful. I’d checked the menu beforehand to make sure there would be something suitable for my dietary requirements. The only vegan option on the menu was pizza but when I tried to order this I was told there was no vegan cheese available. I asked for any other meal option and was directed to olives or bread! We left and went elsewhere.
Came in for drinks and food with friends , it was so cold we couldn't take our coats off . Staff lovely, very attentive. We decided to order some food to warm us up. We ordered a garlic bread , 2 different fries . 5 mins after ordering we were told that they had no pizza base to make the garlic bread. We told them to cancel the whole order and we went somewhere else that was warm and had food available . Such a shame as we love it here!
We are from our of town, found this bar restaurant and it's an absolute gem of a place. Food was fabulous and reasonably priced. Staff were friendly. Lovely old building beautifully done out creating a relaxing ambience. Live music came on later. Real treat. So good. Well worth a visit. 🌞🌞🌞🌞🌞
