Came here during 40% off deal. Outstanding burgers! Super tasty and fab portion. Cheap upgrades too for different fries and extras. Ordered original burger and ultimate burger. Lovely atmosphere- tidy warm pub, and staff very smiley and attentive. Would recommend!
Thank you very much for your excellent food and friendly staff at our annual Christmas lunch. As in the past all food was very much enjoyed. So nice not to have to bother with deposits and pre orders at Christmas time. Thankyou
Booked here for the last day of our holiday and my partner's birthday. Chosen from google reviews and for being dog friendly. The food was exceptional. We both had a roast and it was the best roast we have ever eaten in a restaurant. It was so delicious, especially roast carrots and parsnips. We passed on compliments to the chef. Partners said his chocolate dome was the best dessert he has ever had! Had 30% off mains voucher too! Staff were very friendly and ordering on the app was easy. Would highly recommend. Would 100% return when next in the area.
Excellent service by the waiter and waitress; they were polite, friendly and helpful. Food very good indeed, but it took 45 minutes to arrive. The last time we visited it took only 3 minutes - the carvery, which was simply brilliant
Outstanding Food & Atmosphere – A Hidden Gem! Had an absolutely fantastic experience at this pub! From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with a warm, welcoming atmosphere and friendly service. The menu had a great variety of options, and everything we ordered was cooked to perfection — full of flavour, beautifully presented, and clearly made with care. The portion sizes were generous, and the quality of the ingredients really stood out. Whether you're after a hearty classic or something a little more refined, there's something for everyone. The staff were attentive without being intrusive, and the overall vibe of the place made it feel like a home away from home. Definitely one of the best pub meals I’ve had in a long time. Highly recommend – can’t wait to come back.
