Found this hidden little gem tucked away in Northallerton. Saw photos online and couldn’t stop drooling over them so had to give it a try and it really did live up to expectation! The onions rings were humongous , the food tasted incredible and such massive portions! In my partners word “ I don’t understand how the chicken is so crispy but so still so juicy” haha. The atmosphere and decor was great and such a nice variety of drinks / cocktails which I’ll be definitely be going back to try more. My partner really enjoyed the house lager too! Definitely worth a try!
I ordered the Buffalo Poutine, and honestly, it looked like a piece of art—almost too good to eat, but I'm glad I did! The combination of heat, flavor, chips, and cheese was amazing. It is unlike any other food you can get in this town. I’ve definitely found a gem here. After this meal, I find it hard to believe there are a few negative reviews. Highly recommend!
Great little spot! People were there just hanging out for a few beers as well which surprised me the food is basic but top notch I can't wait to try the Poutine next time I go!
I placed an order on Saturday that was accepted at 20:03 with an expected delivery time of 53 minutes. I checked the app at 21:20 and it said my food had been delivered at 21:00 so I called to query it. I was told that the driver was out with the order and would be "knocking on the door in minutes". 25 minutes later it arrived. Sadly what arrived was well below the standard we'd come to expect. The onion rings weren't fully cooked and seemed to contain something else, along with batter that seemed more like fried bread. The 2 piece combo was made up of several smaller pieces of chicken, rather than breast meat that I've had in the past. The burger bun was also burnt. When we plated it up, it was luke warm so we had to heat it before attempting to eat it. We actually gave up in the end and it went into the bin. It had arrived too late to enjoy, almost cold and the quality was poor. Despite singing their praises, this was a real let down.
Wing Wednesday is our now our favourite day of the week! The wings are amazing and really meaty with a huge selection of flavours. My other half loves the original and my favourite so far is the Cajun Caramel. The staff and chef are so lovely and always come out to speak and bring out some chicken for our dogs too. (Pictured!)
