I was here last night for a low-key birthday meal as I turned 30 years old. The place couldn't have been cleaner, the waiter was an absolute delight and the chef brought the food directly to our table and was a joy to engage with. It's nice to see somewhere that has staff who still have so much passion in their work and it made for a lovely evening that I'd happily choose to come back for. Oh and as a nice bonus I got 2 free lollipops and a birthday serenade, 30 or not that still put a great big smile on my family's face. Fantastic people, fantastic food and a fantastic venue!
Appalling tonight sadly. 1hr 50 min wait for two pizzas to be delivered, phoned twice and was told both times they would be 15/20 mins - clearly not. Food finally arrived and was fairly anaemic and wasn’t cooked properly, had to go in the oven which sort of defeats the point of ordering a takeaway. Uno’s used to be great but they’ve really gone downhill the last couple of years. Wanted to give them another go but this’ll be the last time we use them. Want a pizza? Head to Bianco, even Dominos or one the kebab shops is a better option. Only positive is they gave us a refund which isn’t exactly a glowing endorsement. We really like to support local as much as possible, really do hope they can get back to where they used to be.
We visited this restaurant with family and grandchildren, we were all made welcome. All staff very professional, the food was freshly cooked, well presented and if great quality. Inexpensive also. Would highly recommend.
Really bad pizza tonight sadly. I ordered a vegetarian and margarita. Pizza arrived fairly anaemic, wasn’t cooked properly, in pieces and cold. Pizza went straight to the bin. What a waste of time and money.
Smoked salmon as a starter was spot on, but the fillet steak wasn’t very good at all, I’m a big steak fan but that was shocking, not only I said that I can’t have mushrooms twice he then brings it out with mushrooms ontop and In sauce. Then I said I can’t have it and he then complains that he has to make another one now. Had it made in end and it was shocking, overall starter was spot on and the pint
