Great little take away, staff are very friendly, great food, salt and pepper chips are spot on. Lovely curry sauce. With Covid-19 restrictions they are doing a great service. Phone orders only, pay over the phone. Home delivery on a Saturday evening was an hour which considering it took me over 20 minutes to get through on the phone I thought was great. UPDATE 1: Had a bit of a run with incorrect orders lately, chips instead of rice, or missing portions of rice all together. Disappointing. One star off and I’m going to take a break from using them. UPDATE 2 : The quality of the food has changed, no longer the go to place in Northallerton. Staying away for a bit. UPDATE3 :after a long break from here, we gave it another go. This place is just getting worse. Stay clear.
I’ve been a loyal customer of The Famous Kwong Tung Chinese Takeaway for quite some time now, and they never fail to impress. This evening, I placed a large order consisting of six individual dishes, and once again, they delivered amazing meals. Every dish was packed with flavour, cooked to perfection, and as always, lived up to the high standard I’ve come to expect from them. The consistency in quality and taste is truly commendable, and it’s clear the team puts great care into every order. I’ve never had any issues, no matter the size of the order, and tonight was no exception. A huge thank you to The Famous Kwong Tung team for their fantastic service and incredible food. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for a delicious and reliable Chinese takeaway. Keep up the great work!

Wow. We had the best Chinese food tonight for a long time! Called almost before closing time for a delivery. Not a problem. The Satay was gorgeous, fresh vegetables, hot as requested and fast delivery. Chicken balls were spot on! We’ve found our go to in Northallerton. Well recommended. Thank you.
curry sauce tasted like cigarettes. man was quite rude and impatient. been going here a while and does not taste how it used to
