Unprofessional and Misleading Approach. Someone from Abbington Blake Associates turned up at my mother-in-law’s house late in the evening, unannounced, banging on the door and causing real distress. She genuinely thought debt collectors had come round. There was no prior contact, no appointment, and their manner was aggressive and completely inappropriate. After looking into the company, we’ve since learned that the service they offer—checking or reclaiming overpaid council tax—can be done for free directly through the government website without involving any third-party firm. The whole experience felt pushy and unnecessary. Definitely wouldn’t recommend.
Exellent service from start to finish and kept me informed of the progress. I can definately recommend this company without any hesitation on claiming back any over paid council tax , which went back over 12 years ago.
Excellent company, found me to tell me that I was due a payment from the council due to an overstated band on a former property. Payment made swiftly. I dmire this company.
Shady practices, door to door knocking, stated that they work with the council and that we were "owed money".
