Malpas House Dental Practice

Cannot speak highly enough of my experiences at Malpas House. I have been a patient for several years. I return because the practice is immaculate, modern and bright, the staff are warm, friendly and caring and my treatment has been exemplary.

As for dental care they are good, they do th job, as for caring about their patients, they're awful, I had an appointment and was told it would cost a certain amount which I saved up for, they made me pay before the appointment, but then upon finishing my appointment they then tell me they had to do an extra x-ray so made me pay an extra £60, which for me is a crippling amount of money to spend (especially unexpectedly so) They planned loads of treatment, unfortunately it's a great cost. And they're unable to tell me how much each appointment will be before I go which puts me off going as I'm not sure I'll have enough money I should also add i have autism, along with an array of mental health problems including PTSD and Anxiety, due to these issues and having a terrible mental health day I missed my appointment I had with them, a week later I get a letter through my door saying because I missed my appointment that I owe them £65 Utter joke of place, they do not care about patients, I will not be returning ! Updated !!!!!!!!!! (Since they responded) They have sent multiple letters now harassing me a suicidal person, and as evidence that they are lying i have my bank statements and receipts from that visit, 2 payments in one day, both time stamped, one before my appointment then one after (after they told me they did extra xrays!!!!!), the charged me twice that day, the second charge an unplanned one, and I will also add me being worried about payments I asked how much my next appointment would cost, I was told they couldn't give me a number!!!!

Fantastic dental practice - I was terrified of going to the dentist till I joined this practice - lately I had a filling without anaesthetic! Unbelievable 👏👏👏

I can not rate these guys enough. A couple of years ago I had such a fear of dentist. But these have been amazing. Turned the fear right around. To the point I can now I come in have a chat get the check up done. And even feel totally fine not nervous or anything. I can not review this place or the dentist that work own it enough. Shame I can only give 5 stars. If that can fix my teeth and my fear. Amazing.

We joined the practice last year and have received excellent care. Ive needed a number of visits this last month including an emergency one over new year bank holiday. Appointments have been available when needed, nothing has been too much trouble and everyone - reception staff, dentists and dental nurses - are so kind, caring and professional.
