After losing my dad very suddenly I felt completely overwhelmed with everything. My late dad had a funeral plan with the Coop so I reached out to their office in Northallerton. The first person I spoke with was Adam who arranged my appointment. It was here that I met Adam and Joanne. From the moment I met them I could not have wished for anybody more lovely to look after my dad, his wishes and also be there for me and help me through the process. Thanks also goes to Summer who worked really hard with the music choices. When Joanne got a celebrant called Nichola involved it was again another moment of kindness and compassion. She knew exactly who would be right for the service. Both Joanne and Nichola were so very thoughtful on the day of my dad's funeral and nothing was ever to much for them. Joanne is an absolute credit in her new chosen profession. At the worst of times she did everything to make the process run smoothly with a kindness and Compassion that will truely never be forgotten. I would recommend them without any hesitation. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for everything you did.

The personal service we experienced from Joanne and the team in Northallerton was excellent and we would have no hesitation in recommending them to anyone in the same situation as us. Many thanks for making a difficult time easier.

Heartfelt thanks and eternal gratitude to the team at Wilson, Willoughby & Wetherills Funeral Care in Northallerton. To Lee and Tricia for the upmost care and respect when collecting my loved one's body, and simultaneously gently and sensitively managing my emotions. Paul who works tirelessly (mainly behind the scenes) for his attention to detail and ensuring every wish and request is delivered. Maria for her kindness and compassion and knowing exactly the right thing to say at the right time - and always having a box of tissues at the ready. Jonathan and Lee for the smooth and timely transportation to, and organisation of, the Celebration of Life. For their exceptional people skills, giving me all the time I needed, before escorting me home safely with words of comfort, peace and reassurance. At a time when your life is plunged into darkness this wonderful team of people, restore calm, love and hope and bring light back into your world. An exceptional team of people, who may only be in our lives for a short while, but the impact they have is profound.

Gone massively downhill recently, compared to the personal recommendations I received from when it was independent. Joining Co Op was a big mistake, terrible customer service and a blatant money grab. Teach your employees some empathy.

My mother’s funeral was arranged with every consideration and with grace and dignity.
