Ray Wilson's Accident Repair Centre

We contacted Ray Wilson's for the 1st time after having problems with our car not starting. We delt with Sam (and his mum in the office), who were lovely. They asked us to come down, and in no time the battery was checked and replaced. We couldn't have asked for better service. We will be booking our car there in the future. Fantastic service after being advised to PX the car from a well known national Autocentre. Considering the car hadn’t been pre-booked, the garage completed the works in their expected timescale. My wife received timely updates throughout - we didn’t need to chase up as with other garages. All works undertaken were fully disclosed beforehand meaning we were fully informed and could give the go-ahead on necessary works. On completion of repairs we received comprehensive documentation of works undertaken in addition to the itemised bill, again something past experience has taught us not to take for granted! An all round positive experience that has certainly earned our custom from now on.

Took care for repair but was quoted different amount, from personal quote to Insurance quote £300 difference Woman on reception was very rude no customer service skills at all, damage missing from quote but was on original quote and then claimed they were doing it as a favour. Never had such shocking customer service from such an abhorrent woman would not use again.walked away with no work done and found a better and more customer focused local garage.

My car needed the offside spraying to cover up some surface scratches. Initial inspection looked OK, but when I cleaned the car at the weekend I found the paint was not blended and overspray on the inside back door wheel arch where the paint was not blended in leaving a distinct edge. Also I noticed on the other side which was not painted it had picked up spray from another vehicle which must have been worked on while my car was close by, this is noticeable in bright sunlight and can be felt my running your hand over the paint.
