Due to various medical conditions, I go to this pharmacy a lot. They're always courteous and ready to help if something has gone wrong. Really cannot fault them
Mostly excellent service and most go out of their way to help. They can turn things around very quickly to help and much appreciated. Just wish they had a permanent pharmacist as you see usual one say on Friday. Go back Monday and they've gone. It's weird and unsettling must be difficult for staff.
Good service but very cramped making it inaccessible. Delivery service for repeat prescriptions is a welcome addition, but items aren’t always ready in time to prevent running out
Day Lewis Pharmacy Northallerton. Today I paid for a tube of psoriasis cream prescribed by my doctor. The doctors pharmacy had none, so I was advised to try the Day Lewis pharmacy next door. They had one tube left. When I got home I realised (before opening the box/tube) that the use-by was June 23, giving me only 8 months. It states on the side of the box that the product needs using by 12 months from opening. I called to question that I should have been given something that gives me the full year shelf life, but all I got was attitude from some bloke they put on the phone. In his opinion the tube wouldn’t last me a year (it WILL because I only use a tiny amount when I have a flair-up) or alternatively he said I could just get another prescription in 8 months when this one runs out! Nice of him to decide how to spend my money!?! I was refused a refund, even though the product remains completely unopened. They are supposedly ordering me another tube, (although this was begrudgingly done), so I’ll wait with bated breath as to whether that happens or materialises. Meanwhile I now feel I can’t use this cream until this matter is resolved. Not happy.
Couldn't agree more with Nathan Walls. Have been going here since 2017 and on a number of meds with my mental health so I visit regularly. I don't know which Day Lewis some of these reviewers are going to either they are in a parallel dimension or I am! The staff are always delightfully friendly, cheerful, courteous + professional + like typically in this profession, have brilliant memories of their customers - who they are as individuals + their needs. I helped out in a friend's pub - I wasn't staff - one evening a customer came into the KITCHEN of the pub expecting to be treated like royalty by even busy kitchen colleagues, so when this customer gets round to me, expecting me to be servile to him, I angrily implied to him I won't be + he went white + immediately left the kitchen 👍. He was one of these "humans" who didn't understand you have to treat people with respect to get it back NOT because they work with customers/your payment contributes to their wage 🤑 - do they know slavery has been abolished? Possibly a few of those are reviewers here ?
