Arrived 5:26pm On Friday 2/8/2024 And found shop been already closed, thats Fuming as it's mentioned on the Website they should be closing by 5:30pm.

Today I got real help which was over and above by two of your staff. One working for the Post Office who was so very kind to me and with the help of James, manager they sorted my problem out for me . I went from Grove's who were obnoxious to your shop which seemed like a different world. I was and am so very grateful to these two who helped me, even although they didn't have to. They also made me feel so much better as when I went in I was verging on bursting into tears. Big thanks to Dawn ànd James. You are both brilliant 👏 😀.

Just visited this shop and I was in the queue, an older gentleman was in front of me and asked the guy behind the counter if a certain till was open as he was stood waiting to be served,the guy threw his stuff in a basket he was working on,sighed and put a till closed sign up on 1 of the tills,he was shaking his head and harshly doing the till,still sighing,I work in retail and customers are everything to any shop,guy behind till was oldish,beard and scruffy hair

Must be understaffed as no one answers phone though allowed ringing approximately to 3-4 minutes. Gave up trying to order books. On previous visits hard to find any floor staff for query. If do find are very busy, in a hurry so basically ignore customers. If you manage to get their attention they are very helpful and curteous albiet still with a sense of being their being rushed with you as an inconvience. Shame, but fault ultimately lies with management not the ever trying staff.

The lighting is a little low in the shop, but the staff are helpful and friendly. There's a good range of stock, considering it's only a small shop. 👍😊
