A wheel broke off my brother's wheelchair stranding us in Northallerton. The man from Cowley's came out and tried to fix it but then had to take the wheelchair back to their workshop where they did an absolutely superb job - better than new! Their attitude was brilliant - I can't praise them highly enough. Please use Cowley's whenever you can!

I Dropped a wheel in for a replacement spoke on Friday and was all fixed and ready To collect Saturday. Bike all back together and back to its daily commute to work. Quick turnaround, good price. Thank-you will definitely use again.

Another top class experience at Cowleys Cycles recently. After a failed gear cable home attempt to fit and what we thought was a broken gear lever I took my bike into Cowleys and left it there thinking it was going to be a long (and expensive) job to order the new gear lever and then fit it but was amazed to be messaged the next day to say my bike was ready to collect! Superstar mechanic Robbie had done an expert job of checking the gear cable and lever thoroughly to discover the bent gear cable and the spring from the lever which he promptly fixed. Moral to this story always take your bike to the expert Robbie at Cowleys first!! Thank you again and for saving me a lot of unnecessary expense too.

10/10 customer service when I needed it most! While riding the Dales Divide bikepacking race in April, my specialist seatpost bolt fell off somewhere on the trail. I rode to this bike shop and Steve immediately prioritised my cry for help, and made a bolt for me in the workshop! All with a friendly sympathetic smile. Thanks to Cowley Cycles I was able to reach Arnside Pier and finish the race 14 hours later!

Super helpful! Were able to replace a broken spoke on the spot after a race on a Saturday afternoon, and I was able to race again the next morning! (recessed head spoke, lots of shops don't have them in stock) Pretty good price as well as the rim tape got pierced by the spoke and they had to redo the tubeless setup. Thanks!
